Celebrity Big Brother for India
The hit reality TV series Big Brother is going to Bollywood. Endemol India, a television production company in India, will produce a celebrity version of the series for a South Asian audience. Accordinging to a BBC story, the show will have an inter-faith dimension, casting both Muslim and Hindu participants. Sex, however, will be something of a taboo on the show. Given the conservatism of Indian society, the producers will ban any "hanky-panky," says the BBC. The Big Brother reality series was originally developed by a Dutch production company in 1999, but has since grown into a worldwide franchise.
