Bathing Ape + Kaws Collabo Tee Found
Yes! It really exists! The much-hyped (like everything BAPE these days, it seems) Kaws and A Bathing Ape collaboration graphic tee is the real deal. We stumbled across this used one (in pristine condition, naturally) on a Yahoo! auction site. We'd be curious to know what the seller eventually fetches for it on the always active second-hand market for BAPE merch. Kaws, for anyone who doesn't know, is the old-school-new-schhol graf and street artist gone legit. His work is now the subject of books and arty monographs. BAPE, well, the man behind BAPE is Nigo, of course, a mysterious Tokyo dude who wears many hats and who modelled himself after seminal Japanese tastemaker Hiroshi Fujiwara. But that's a whole other story ...
